GITAM University Bangalore was established in 2012 and is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been recently re-accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an “A++” grade.

GITAM Bangalore offers various courses in fields of management, science, humanities and technology. The GITAM University Bangalore courses are offered through four schools under it namely, GITAM School of Business, GITAM School of Humanities and Social Sciences, GITAM School of Technology and GITAM School of Science. Some of the GITAM Bangalore courses offered are B.Tech, BA, B.Sc, BBA, M.Tech, MBA, and MA. Admissions at GITAM Bangalore are determined on the basis of marks obtained in GAT. Candidates who have appeared in JEE, GATE, HSEE, TISS, UGAT, GPAT, JAM, CUCET, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, NMAT, and GMAT are exempted from appearing in the GAT.

GITAM University Bangalore Admission Process 2023

To understand the GITAM University Bangalore admission process, candidates must go through the following steps.

Candidates must first meet the GITAM Bangalore eligibility criteria for their desired course.
Then the candidate has to apply and qualify for the GITAM GAT 2023 or secure a valid mark in any other entrance exams specified against the courses chosen.
After the declaration of GAT 2023 results, a merit list will be released, wherein the name of the shortlisted candidates will be mentioned.
Shortlisted candidates then need to appear for the GITAM University Bangalore counselling.
Candidates will be then called for PI rounds to finalise their GITAM Bangalore admission.
